David Watson
PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
david@agasset.com.auDavid has over 35 years of practical and consulting experience in the agriculture field and has an “on the ground” approach to his farm consultancy style. Allowing David to focus on the client’s needs and empowering them to make an informed decision. With 85% of his clients in the low rainfall zone, he has become a low rainfall specialist within the consultancy industry.
David aims to analyse the entire business in order to correct any weaknesses and build on the strengths, improving profitability and long-term sustainability of the farming operation. David consults in the Central, Eastern and Lower-Northern Wheatbelt.

Carly Veitch
FARM MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT
carly@agasset.com.auCarly combines 15 years of experience in agricultural consulting and finance roles with her passion for helping people grow and develop themselves and their businesses. Carly partners with her clients to help them identify their goals and empower them to do what they do – better.
Carly specialises in succession planning, drawing on her own family’s experience to develop forward-looking succession plans and assisting families with mediation. Carly believes the key to good succession is a people-first approach, valuing good communication, listening to everyone involved, and then taking a team approach to develop a plan together.
Carly combines her consulting role with farming with her husband Phil and their family at Balkuling in the Quairading shire, which allows her to test her strategies in the real world.

Renae Piggott
FARM MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT
renae@agasset.com.auRenae is the most recent member to join the AgAsset team. Renae comes from an agricultural background in the northern Wheatbelt. After completing school in Perth Renae attended Murdoch University where she achieved a double degree in animal science and animal health, she also attended the University of New England where she furthered her studies in agribusiness.
After university Renae moved to NSW and worked for an Agtech company MEQ working in the meat quality of lamb. Renae also has worked in a variety of agricultural enterprises including, cattle feedlots, live export feedlots and grain handling. She brings with her a passion for on-farm innovation and business management to help build a sustainable and profitable business.
